Vanilla Shakeology

vanilla-shakeologyThe long awaited Vanilla Shakeology! Pretty much every protein shake, meal replacement out there has vanilla as a flavor. The bad thing is most have to use artificial ingredients in order to get that flavor.

This is why I love Beachbody as a company. They could have created a vanilla years ago, but it would not fit into the mold of “The Healthiest Meal of The Day” by using artificial flavoring etc..

So after years of trial and error they created Vanilla Shakeology and it was a welcomed addition to the flavor line up! So where do they get the vanilla flavor from? Well organic vanilla beans from Madagascar of course!

I could not wait for this to come out and when it did I grabbed a bag as soon as possible. I love vanilla because you can really add almost anything else to it where with chocolate you sometimes are limited. I always like to try a new flavor out with just ice/water to get the true taste. I was pleasantly surprised with vanilla.

If you are expecting your typical vanilla flavor then you might be surprised. This has more of a organic/natural flavor then your sugary sweet taste you are used to.

If you have ready my other posts you know that Chocolate Shakeology is my favorite and I thought vanilla might win, but alas in the end it did not. I still order vanilla here and there, but my home direct is set to ship out a choco bag every month.
