The Classic Naked Nutrition Recipe
I am real happy with the products from Naked Nutrition, so I asked them to give me a yummy recipe and they came back with what they call “The Classic”
This is close to what my daily morning shake is, but wow add the coco powder, vanilla, ad BOO YA!! Delish! Anyways…. here ya go! Try it out and leave a comment below.
Naked Whey comes from grass fed cows from dairy farms in Northern California. The minimal processing results in a non-denatured protein that helps to reduce hunger and promotes lean muscle growth. The whey is so good by itself, that the only ingredient is that: whey protein.
Powdered peanut butter might seem like a fad at first, but it’s so much more than that. In order to reach the powdered state, most of the fat and oils have been pressed out of the peanuts. And, with that, most of the calories have been removed as well. Naked PB has almost 75% less calories than regular peanut butter per serving and over 90% less fat, with 6 grams of protein per serving. Psst… I just did a review on their Naked PB here… check it out!
Here’s a great recipe that combines a number of our favorite flavors.
Chocolate, peanut and banana is a time-tested perfect combination. This recipe has it all, all natural whey protein creaminess and sweetness. With only 7 ingredients, this shake is perfect for breakfast when you’re busy and in need of a morning pick-me-up.
WARNING– this recipe calls for overripe bananas, which will add sweetness to your shake this may cause you to curb those chocolate muffin cravings in the morning.
2 large overripe bananas, peeled, sliced and frozen
1 cup milk (or more to thin as desired)
1 scoop Naked PB powdered peanut butter
1 scoop Naked Whey protein powder (https://nkdnutrition.com/products/grass-fed-whey-protein-powder)
2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Ice (as needed)
Add all ingredients to a blender and process until thoroughly combined and serve immediately. Enjoy for breakfast or after a vigorous workout to help with muscle recovery and to promote muscle growth.
What are you waiting for? Go make one of these and let me know what you think!
