Chocolate Vegan Shakeology Review - Not Vegan? That's OK

Chocolate Vegan Shakeology

vegan-chocolateI am by no means a vegan nor will I ever be one. I am not anti vegan I just like what I like, but I do love the fact that there are options and to be honest it is nice to switch it up a bit once in awhile.

Like I have said chocolate shakeology is my favorite so when I switched to vegan chocolate to give it a try I was not sure what to expect. I have had other vegan shakes before and to be honest they were horrible!! Off the top of my head the one I had tried was Garden of Life Raw Protein. Probably one of the worst protein drinks I had ever tasted! No offense.

Anyways onto my review of Chocolate Vegan Shakeology.  As far as flavor it really is pretty darn close, but texture is a bit different. I guess maybe you could say gritty or chalky almost, but not as chalky as the tropical flavor.  When I say grit I don't mean like sand I guess I mean just a bit more texture it. Regardless it is delicious! I could easily drink the vegan choco everyday if I had too and I will swap out some days here and there with the vegan just to switch things up a bit.

I like the idea of getting different types of protein and not just the whey everyday. If you are a vegan or have been trying to start eating more like one, but have not been able to find a suitable meal replacement then give this a shot. You will be glad you did!
